City of Toronto to announce its 2016 fundraising goal for United Way
  
The City of Toronto will launch its annual employee campaign for the United Way of Toronto and York Region by announcing the 2016 fundraising goal. City officials will be joined by representatives of the municipal unions and associations at tomorrow's event.

Date: Thursday, September 22
Time: 12:30 to 1 p.m.
Location: Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen St. W.

The Toronto Public Service is joined in its campaign by the Toronto Public Library, Toronto Zoo, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Toronto Parking Authority and Exhibition Place. The City's employee campaign has raised more than $1 million for the United Way each of the past 15 years.
