Toronto's Signature Dish to be announced at the Lovin' Local Food Fest
Mayor Tory will announce Toronto's Signature Dish at the Lovin' Local Food Fest on Saturday, July 9. Thousands voted to select the winner from among the top four contenders: Peameal Bacon Sandwich, Street Meat (hot dogs/sausages), Jamaican Patty and Burrito. Nominations were solicited by the City's Live Green Toronto program.

Time: noon
Location: Yonge-Dundas Square, Main Stage

At 5p.m., three Toronto chefs will prepare their take on the signature dish and compete for top title.

The Lovin' Local Food Fest is a production of Live Green Toronto, a City of Toronto program that supports and promotes environmental initiatives within Toronto.
