Getting ready for the winter season on and under City of Toronto streets
The City of Toronto’s Transportation Services and Toronto Water divisions are getting ready for the return of winter.

Councillor Jaye Robinson (Ward 25 Don Valley West), Chair of the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee, will discuss the City’s plans for winter operations, including snow clearing, road salting and response to watermain breaks, as well as steps the public can take to prevent frozen pipes at home.

Date: Wednesday, November 23
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Location: Works Yard, 433 Eastern Ave.

Note to editors, photo editors: some of the City’s snow clearing equipment will be available for photographs, as will samples of old watermains and watermain break repair equipment.
