Recipe for Community celebrates Scarborough Village
Toronto Councillor Gary Crawford (Ward 36, Scarborough-Southwest), along with Anne L. Brayley, Vice-President, Philanthropic Services of the Toronto Foundation and residents of the Scarborough Village community will celebrate the Recipe for Community project that is helping create a more vital community.

Date: Thursday, May 26
Time: 4 to 7:30 p.m., remarks at 6 p.m.
Location: Scarborough Village Recreation Centre, 3600 Kingston Road.

Recipe for Community is led by the Toronto Foundation and the City of Toronto and works to create partnerships with public and private sector groups to invest in community development. The Scarborough Village project is the fourth neighborhood to take part in the Recipe for Community project.

The Scarborough Village event will showcase success stories of young people who used this project to access employment, revitalized garden spaces, bike repair and cooking programs and more.
