Media Advisory - Launch of the 7th Annual Mayor’s School Cricket Tournament
  
Mayor John Tory and Helen Berhane, Deputy Chair of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Canada, will launch the 2017 Mayor's School Cricket Tournament and recognize last year's winning teams.

Date: Thursday, April 6
Time: 10 a.m. to noon, remarks at 10:30 a.m.
Location: Metro Hall, Rotunda, 55 John St.

Councillor Chin Lee (Ward 41 Scarborough-Rouge River), Barry William, Vice President – Playing, Canadian Tire Corporation, Angelos Bacopoulos, Associate Director, Toronto District School Board and Frank D'Amico, Vice Chair, Toronto Catholic District School Board will also attend the launch.

John Moore, Newstalk 1010 host, will MC the event.

The 2017 Mayor's School Cricket Tournament will be held May 15 to 19 at Sunnybrook Park and G. Ross Lord Park. The GTA finals will be held on June 3 at Sunnybrook Park.
