Voter information cards are in the mail for Councillor Ward 42 by-election
Voter information cards have been mailed out for the by-election for the office of Councillor Ward 42 Scarborough-Rouge River. The voter information card features details on where to vote during the advance vote or on election day.

Advance vote will take place on Saturday, February 4 and Sunday, February 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Election day is Monday, February 13 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

An elector who has not received a voter information card can use the online "Where Do I Vote" tool at or call 416-338-1111 to find out where to vote. A voter information card is not required to vote, but electors must provide acceptable identification showing their name and qualifying address to receive a ballot. A list of acceptable identification is available at

During the advance vote, a Voter Assist Terminal (VAT) will be provided to assist voters with disabilities in marking their ballot privately and independently. Electors who want to use this assistive device on election day should contact Election Services at 416-338-1111 by February 7 to make the necessary arrangements.
