Sport excellence to be celebrated Wednesday with inductions to Toronto Sport Hall of Honour
Mayor John Tory will bring greetings on behalf of the City of Toronto as 14 new inductees, including Olympic gold medalist Rosie MacLennan and hockey legend Bobby Baun, will be honoured on Wednesday at the second annual Toronto Sport Hall of Honour induction ceremony.

Date: Wednesday, April 5
5:30 to 6 p.m. Inductees or their representatives available for interviews
6:30 p.m. Induction ceremony (by invitation)
7:30 p.m. Unveiling of this year's Wall of Honour (open to the public)
8 p.m. Inductees or representatives available for interviews
Location: Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, 875 Morningside Ave.

The Toronto Sport Hall of Honour, a legacy of the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games, celebrates the contributions and accomplishments of those who have inspired and brought recognition to Toronto through sport. The 2017 induction ceremony, hosted by the CBC's Scott Russell, will include the unveiling of this year's Wall of Honour design with a special commemoration of Canada's 150th anniversary of Confederation.
