YYZ Live music series to launch at Toronto Pearson International Airport
Mayor John Tory will launch YYZ Live tomorrow, a new airport music showcase in honour of Canada's 150th birthday. The Mayor will be joined by Councillor Josh Colle (Ward 15 Eglinton-Lawrence), Chair of the Toronto Music Advisory Council and Howard Eng, President and CEO of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA). The launch event will conclude with a performance by acclaimed indie soul artist AHI.

YYZ Live will present 150 free live music performances at Toronto Pearson International Airport from June 26 to September 15. The program will showcase some of Toronto’s best emerging artists and will draw from a wide range of genres and cultures.
