City to announce 2017 fundraising goal for United Way Employee Campaign
The City of Toronto will launch its annual employee campaign for the United Way of Toronto & York Region by announcing its fundraising goal at an event held on Nathan Phillips Square. Mayor Tory will be joined by City staff and representatives of the municipal unions and associations.

The City of Toronto is one of the top public sector fundraisers for United Way Toronto & York Region. The Toronto Public Service is joined in its campaign by the Toronto Public Library, Toronto Zoo, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Toronto Parking Authority and Exhibition Place. The City's United Way Employee Campaign has raised more than $1 million each of the past 16 years.
