City of Toronto ready for the winter season – on and under City streets
The City of Toronto is ready for the winter season. Councillor Jaye Robinson (Ward 25 Don Valley West), Chair of the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee, will discuss the City’s plans for winter operations, including snow clearing, road salting and response to watermain breaks, as well as steps the public can take to prevent frozen pipes at home.

Date: Wednesday, November 22
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Location: Works Yard, 433 Eastern Ave.

Note to editors/photo editors: some of the City’s snow clearing equipment will be available to photograph, as will samples of old watermains and watermain break repair equipment.
