The Toronto Seniors’ Forum will be holding the Toronto Seniors: Making Things Happen Meet and Greet Event. At this event, the Forum will showcase its 2004-2006 accomplishments and launch the 2007 Toronto Seniors Forum Budget and Advocacy Requests.

Mayor David Miller and Councillor Gay Cowbourne (Ward 44 Scarborough East) are included in an array of speakers focusing on key seniors’ issues.

Date: Monday, September 25
Time: 12:30 p.m. (welcome and speeches)
Location: Members’ Lounge, Toronto City Hall

The Toronto Senior’s Forum works to help ensure that Toronto meets its commitment to providing equitable services for seniors across Toronto. The Forum consults seniors across the city, and promotes dialogue among seniors and organizations serving seniors. Issues identified as having provincial or federal government implications are passed to the Mayor’s Roundtable on Seniors.
