City of Toronto releases official election results
  
Today at noon, Ulli S. Watkiss, Toronto City Clerk announced the official results for the November 13 municipal election. Mayor-elect David Miller received 332,969 votes, followed by Jane Pitfield with 188,932 votes. A total of 597,754 eligible voters cast ballots.

The results, available online at http://www.toronto.ca/elections, are broken down by office (mayor, councillor and trustee) and indicate the number of votes candidates received in each of the City’s 44 wards. The results also show the number of votes cast in each of the 1,638 election day voting locations, as well as the 10 days of advance voting opportunities.
