Weekend road closures for special events
  
A series of road and lane closures will take place this weekend to accommodate street events in the city.

World Partnership Walk

Sunday closure:
  • the formation and dispersal area for the parade is at Metro Hall.
  • a number of partial and full closures will take place affecting King Street and Simcoe Street between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 28 to accommodate this event.
  • University Avenue, from Wellington Street to Queen’s Park Circle, will be closed in both directions during this time.


Walk for Israel

Sunday closure:
  • a number of partial closures will take place from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 28 to accommodate this event. The roads affected are in the area bounded by Strachan Avenue in the west, Lake Shore Boulevard in the south, Spadina Avenue in the east and Dundas Street to the north. In addition to the streets noted above, other streets affected by this event include: Richmond Street, Bathurst Street and Front Street.


The public is encouraged to use public transit (TTC and GO) as a convenient, alternative choice whenever possible.
