Monday, May 29
Toronto Public Service Week (May 29 to June 2) - Mayor David Miller and City Manager Shirley Hoy launch TPS Week. The event will highlight City of Toronto jobs and programs offered through Parks, Forestry and Recreation that put youth onto a career path.

Bike Week 2006 (May 29 to June 11) launch event - 17th annual Group Commute
Times: 7:30 a.m. (cyclists meet at Bloor/Yonge intersection and ride to Nathan Phillips Square); 8:30 a.m. (free pancake breakfast on Nathan Phillips Square, City Hall)

Toronto Public Service Week: Toronto Public Health presents the In The Driver’s Seat Celebration Awards. In The Driver’s Seat promotes safe and sober driving among high school students. Mayor David Miller and Dr. David McKeown, Medical Officer of Health, will present awards to Toronto’s “Top 10 Schools.”

Wednesday, May 31
Toronto Public Service Week: Mayor David Miller, Councillor Giorgio Mammoliti, Chair of the Affordable Housing Committee, Deputy City Manager Sue Corke and Habitat for Humanity CEO, Neil Hetherington, attend a ceremony to recognize 100 City staff who volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and the Toronto Rotary Club to build 10 new affordable homes. New affordable housing partnerships between the City and Habitat for Humanity will be announced.
