Time to tee-off - Toronto’s municipal golf courses open for the season
  
Toronto’s five municipal golf courses open for the season at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, April 11. Operated by Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, the courses are reasonably priced, conveniently located within city boundaries, and easily accessible by TTC. Each course has its own individual appeal. Dentonia
Dentonia Golf Course is the GTA’s finest par three course and a great course for a season warm- up round. The Dentonia Golf Course is located at 781 Victoria Park Ave., less than a one-minute walk from the Victoria Park subway station. For more information or to book a tee-time call, 416-392-2558.

Don Valley
Don Valley is the oldest and most prestigious municipal course. It has a classic Howard Watson design, a traditional variety of holes, and a legendary reputation for its exciting natural setting. This year, the Don Valley Golf Course will celebrate its 50th anniversary. It was opened by Fred Gardiner, the first Chairman of Metro Toronto, on August 1, 1956. Humber Valley
Humber Valley is suitable for all ages and skill levels. It challenges golfers with its combination of links and valley lands so players need to focus on precision, accuracy and patience, especially on the last three holes. Scarlett Woods
Scarlett Woods is an executive-length course and a great way to start the season. It is a popular choice with both novice and expert golfers providing quality golf when you’re on the clock. Tam O’Shanter
Tam O’Shanter is nestled alongside Highland Creek and offers a serene setting. It is a moderately difficult course with water hazards that require extra attention.
