Media Advisory - Fire Investigation Seminar
  
The Toronto Arson Task Force will be hosting an educational seminar on Fire Investigation and Hazard Awareness. The workshops will focus on health and safety issues for fire investigators, and fire, police and insurance personnel.

Date: May 24 and 25
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: Toronto Fire Academy, 895 Eastern Ave.

Workshop topics include Health Hazards at Fire Scenes, Car Fire Hazards, Crime Scene Preservation/Forensics, Crystal Methamphetamine (Meth) Labs, Explosions and Arson Awareness.

The scheduled speakers include:
  • Kitty Coppin, President, Mobile Lung testing
  • John Coull, Fire/Explosion Investigator, Origin and Cause Inc.
  • Dennis Buligan, Toronto Police Staff Sergeant, Forensic Identification
  • Greg Glendinning, Toronto Police Detective, Toronto Drug Squad.
