EMS vehicle struck by bullets, no injuries sustained by staff

Early this morning, Toronto EMS received a call to attend to a male who was shot in the area of Dundas St. E. and Shuter St. The patient was transported to hospital by Toronto EMS paramedics.

While departing the scene, an EMS supervisor’s vehicle was struck twice by bullets. No injuries were sustained by our supervisor. The gunman fled the scene and the event was reported to police.

Toronto EMS is grateful for the care and concern displayed by the public and our allied services.
