Media Advisory - Homeless women release study on downtown social services
The results of a community research project that looks at ways to make programs, policies and services work for homeless and marginalized women will be announced tomorrow.

Date: Wednesday, June 7
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Place: Parliament Library, 2nd Floor, Community Room, 269 Gerrard St. E. (just west of Parliament)

This project is the collaborative work of four groups: The Ontario Prevention Clearing House, Ontario Women’s Health Network, Toronto Christian Resource Centre and Toronto Public Health. Homeless and underhoused women who live in Downtown East Toronto led the research and were actively engaged in all stages of the project including developing the final recommendations. Final recommendations will be released tomorrow.
