Media Advisory: Emergency services personnel honoured at 9-1-1 Appreciation Night with the Toronto Blue Jays
  
Tonight is 9-1-1 Appreciation Night at the Rogers Centre. The Toronto Blue Jays will honour Toronto’s police, emergency medical services and fire personnel with a ceremony that will take place on the field at the Rogers Centre before tonight’s game.

Toronto’s fire, police and emergency medical Communicators of the Year will be honoured for their skill, professionalism and care in dealing with complex emergency situations while handling 9-1-1 emergencies.

Date: Tonight - Friday, September 15
Time: 6:45 p.m. (game starts at 7:07 p.m.)
Place: Rogers Centre, Field Level

At the Communicator of the Year presentations, Emergency Medical Dispatcher KC Poolsaar will receive her award from Toronto EMS Chief Bruce Farr; Toronto Police Service Communications Operator Nancy Clark will be recognized by Police Chief William Blair; and Captain Peter Konoplicky will accept the Toronto Fire Services award, dedicated to his Platoon 4 colleagues, from Fire Chief William Stewart.

Toronto’s emergency services thank the Toronto Blue Jays for supporting the annual 9-1-1 Appreciation Night.
