Weekend Road Closure for Special Event

A series of road and lane closures will take place this weekend to accommodate a street event in the city.

Greek National Independence Day Parade

Sunday closures:

- Danforth Avenue, between Broadview Avenue and Donlands Avenue, will be closed in both directions on Sunday, March 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the parade.
- In addition, to accommodate the set up of the stage for the parade, the westbound curb lane of Danforth Avenue will be closed at Chester Avenue (372 and 374 Danforth Avenue) from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Gerrard Street and Dundas Avenue would be alternative routes.

The public is encouraged to use public transit (TTC and GO) as a convenient, alternative choice whenever possible.

For more information about other closures, check with Transportation Services’ Road Info line at 416-599-9090 or visit the city’s website at http://www.toronto.ca/transportation.
