Alberta Fire Fighter cycling across Canada for prostate cancer awareness
  
Toronto Fire Fighters are welcoming a Fire Fighter from Lethbridge, Alberta who is cycling across Canada to raise funds and awareness of prostate cancer. John Wagontall was diagnosed with prostate cancer in December of 2004 when he was 46-years-old and decided he wanted to spread the message of the importance of early detection.

Date: Friday, June 23
Time: 2:30 p.m.
Location: Centre Point Mall (southwest corner of Yonge and Steeles parking lot)

John Left Victoria, B.C. in May of 2006 and plans on completing his Cycle for Life ride in St. John’s, Newfoundland by the end of July, 2006.

He has been visiting fire fighters across the country in order to raise awareness of the importance of check ups and early detection.
