Actor Jason Isaacs will speak with aspiring young actors in Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation’s performing arts summer camp programs to provide insight into the world of film and television. Mr. Isaacs is recognized for his roles as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter series, Captain Mike Steele in Black Hawk Down and Colonel William Tavington, opposite Mel Gibson in the Revolutionary War epic The Patriot. He is currently starring in the new drama series on The Movie Network, Brotherhood and is now filming the BBC mini-series, The State Within in Toronto.

Date: Friday, July 28
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Location: Wellesley Community Centre, 495 Sherbourne St.

Mr. Isaacs will share his experiences on being an actor on the big and small screens. Sudz Sutherland, a freelance writer and director whose latest project was CTV’s Doomstown, will moderate a Q&A session to give youth the opportunity to ask Mr. Isaacs questions.
