Have a howling good time at St. Lawrence Market this Halloween
The St. Lawrence Market is hosting its first Halloween store decoration contest. Stores in the Market that choose to decorate their space could win $500. Residents are invited to visit the Market on Halloween, Tuesday, October 31, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and judge the decorated stores. Residents that judge at least 10 stores (and have their ballets stamped by each store), will be eligible to win a $50 gift certificate to the St. Lawrence Market.

The store that receives the most votes wins the $500. Visit the St. Lawrence Market’s website at to find out the winning store. The winner of the draw for the $50 St. Lawrence Market gift certificate will be contacted by St. Lawrence Market staff. Both the draw and the winner will be announced within one week of Halloween.

In addition, the main entrance of the St. Lawrence Market south building will also be decorated by Ricky Shi -- a student from the Ontario College of Art and Design.

Residents are encouraged to come out and enjoy the shopping and ambiance of the St. Lawrence Market, and to participate in the Halloween store decoration contest for a chance to win the $50 gift certificate.
