Canada’s foremost curb-to-curb celebration returns!
The 8th Annual Celebrate Toronto Street Festival will once again transform the world's longest street into a curb-to-curb celebration of tastes, talent and all that is Toronto from July 7 – 9, 2006.

At the peak of the city’s robust festival and event season, the Celebrate Toronto Street Festival provides a unique artistic experience for residents and visitors alike. Yonge Street, where it intersects with Dundas Street, St. Clair Avenue, Eglinton Avenue and Lawrence Avenue, will once again be converted into a stage for free entertainment that covers the artistic spectrum with each site offering a combination of musical entertainment, street theatre, visual arts and so much more. More information on the entertainment line-up at the Celebrate Toronto Street Festival will be released in the coming weeks.

Along with fantastic free entertainment, the Celebrate Toronto Street Festival also highlights Toronto’s 4th annual Summerlicious, presented by American Express offering exceptional prix fixe menus at 130 of Toronto’s top restaurants from July 7 - 23, 2006. American Express Cardmembers can go to the Front Of The Line to book early reservations by contacting participating restaurants directly on June 20 & 21, 2006. All other reservations will be accepted from June 22, 2006. Summerlicious information including the list of participating restaurants and Summerlicious menus will be available on-line in early June.

In addition, the Celebrate Toronto Coupon Program will offer discounts at 20 of Toronto’s most thrilling destinations. Coupons will be available online at for printable coupons and in the full festival guide available at participating attractions.

In seven short years the Celebrate Toronto Street Festival has grown to be one of Toronto’s highest-profile events with an annual attendance of more than one million people over three days. Produced by Toronto Special Events, the Celebrate Toronto Street Festival has been awarded seven Festivals & Events Ontario Awards, three Canadian Event Industry Awards and two Ontario Economic Development Awards.
