Media Advisory - City of Toronto honours participants in 2006 Profession to Profession Mentorship Program
  
City Manager Shirley Hoy together with other senior City officials and community partners will honour over 150 participants in the City of Toronto’s Profession to Profession - Mentoring Immigrants Program at a recognition event.

Date: Thursday, September 21
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Location: Members’ Lounge, City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

Highly-educated, workforce-ready foreign trained professionals represent a significant labour force. In 2006, 77 City of Toronto staff volunteered as mentors to provide job search advice to immigrant professionals. All will be honoured at this event and receive certificates of recognition.
