Media Advisory: Mats Sundin to face-off with Toronto children
  
Toronto Maple Leafs’ Captain Mats Sundin, representatives from the City of Toronto’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation division, and Esso will officially launch the Esso NHL Street Buds program this year at the Brown Community Centre.

The Esso NHL Street Buds program features a series of skills, drills and ball hockey games enjoyed by more than 1,000 inner-city children and youth ages 6 to 15 years, representing various community recreation centres from across the City of Toronto. The program allows participants to test their ball hockey skills and abilities while promoting teamwork, responsibility and other life skills.

The event features greetings, demonstrations and skill drills involving Mats Sundin and community children aged 6 to 12 years of age.

Date: Sunday, November 12
Time: 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Location: Brown Community Centre, 454 Avenue Rd. (Avenue Road, south of St. Clair Avenue West)
