Media Advisory - 144 buildings open their doors for FREE 7th Annual Doors Open Toronto May 27 and 28
This weekend, Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28, Doors Open Toronto invites residents and visitors to explore 144 extraordinary buildings including historical landmarks, architectural gems, contemporary spaces, cultural places and more! This year, there is a special focus on Toronto’s waterfront and family-friendly sites featuring children’s activities. Admission is FREE to all buildings. Many of the buildings on the Doors Open Toronto roster are not normally open to the public. Doors Open Toronto is a Signature Event of Toronto Culture and Live with Culture.

Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28

Building hours vary; many are open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on one or both days. Please confirm times for each building. Visit and go to “Buildings to Visit”

City-wide event with 144 buildings; 36 buildings are new additions this year. Highlights include:

Canada’s National Ballet School - NEW! 400 Jarvis St.
Commerce Court North, 25 King St. W.
Carlu, 444 Yonge St. (Sunday Only: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
Don Valley Brickworks, 550 Bayview Ave.
Empire Sandy (Tall Ship) - NEW! Foot of Spadina Ave. & Queens Quay W.
Fort York Armoury - NEW! 660 Fleet St. W.
Horse Palace, Exhibition Place - NEW! 140 Princes’ Blvd.
Ontario Place (Grounds Only) - NEW! 955 Lakeshore Blvd. W.
Queen’s Warf Lighthouse - NEW! Fleet St. & Lakeshore Blvd. W.

The Doors Open Toronto weekend Information Centre is located in the Barbara Frum Atrium, CBC Broadcasting Centre, Saturday and Sunday, May 27 & 28, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., at 250 Front Street West.
