Photo Opportunity: Kids CAN-BIKE Camp
  
This summer, City Planning has been offering a first-ever Kids CAN-BIKE Camp for children ages 9-12 years. Eighty kids are learning how to bike safely during an action packed week, culminating in a Bike Hike to Ward’s Island. Each child will be able to take home and keep a brand new bike, helmet, lock and backpack.

At this event, Councillor Adam Giambrone (Ward 18- Davenport), Chair of the Toronto Cycling Committee and Kids CAN-BIKE Camp participants will emphasize the importance of bicycle safety for children.

Date: Friday, August 18
Location: Jimmie Simpson Recreation Centre, 870 Queen St. E.
Times: 9 a.m. - arrival
9:15 a.m. - photo opportunity
9:30 a.m. - kids begin ride to Toronto Island Ferry Terminal
