Partial closure of Spadina/St. Clair intersection starts Friday, continues through weekend

The intersection of Spadina Road and St. Clair Avenue will be partially closed from Friday, September 8 at 9:30 a.m. until Monday, September 11 at 6 a.m. for TTC track reconstruction and road and sidewalk work.

During the closure, one lane of traffic along St. Clair Avenue in both directions will remain open, allowing vehicles to travel through the intersection. Traffic travelling north or south on Spadina Road will not be able to travel through the intersection.

Traffic travelling north on Spadina Road will be permitted to make right hand turns in order to travel east on St. Clair Avenue and vehicles travelling south on Spadina Road will be able to make right hand turns in order to travel west on St. Clair Avenue.

During the closure, motorists are encouraged to use alternative east/west routes such as Dupont Street or Eglinton Avenue and north/south routes including Avenue Road or Bathurst Street.
