Media Advisory - Local governments announce proclamation in fight against AIDS
  
The City of Toronto, the Alliance of Mayors’ Initiative for Community Action on AIDS at the Local Level (AMICAALL), and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM), will hold a joint news conference on Tuesday, August 15 to deliver a proclamation on the role of local government in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Date: Tuesday, August 15
Time: 9 a.m.
Place: Media Centre, Room 3, International AIDS Conference, Metro Toronto Convention Centre

Toronto Mayor David Miller will be joined by Mayor Salim Kisauji from Tanga, Tanzania; Mayor Zenabou Drabo from Bogodogo, Burkina Faso; and Councillor Gloria Kovach from Guelph, Ontario and President of FCM.
