Media Advisory - $50 million business contracts celebrate 20 years’ co-operation between Toronto and Chongqing
  
Mayor Wang Hongju of the City of Chongqing, China will be visiting Toronto from May 13-16, 2006 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Sister City relationship between Toronto and Chongqing.

A highlight of the visit will be the May 15th signing of contracts valued at $50 million between three Chongqing and three Toronto companies. The companies participating are: Chongqing Boao Magnesium Company Limited; Meridian Co. Ltd.; China Unicom Chongqing Branch; Nortel Networks Corp; Chongqing Polycomp International Corp (CPIC) & Export and Import Trade Centre of Canada and USA Ltd.
