Media Advisory - Toronto Children’s Services provides fun and information at the Ex
As part of the Canadian National Exhibition’s Child Awareness and Development Project, Toronto Children’s Services will provide fun, interactive activities for children, combined with service information for parents, in the Play and Learn Building. This building is part of Kids World, located just inside the Dufferin Gate, and is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

From August 21 to 25, Children’s Services Resource Educators will be on site to demonstrate what a good early learning environment looks and feels like. Staff will also be on hand to speak to parents and provide information about the many licensed child care options that are available.

Dates: Monday, August 21 to Friday, August 25
Times: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily
Location: Kids World (just inside Dufferin Gate), CNE

After August 25, other organizations will provide children’s activities, but Toronto Children’s Services staff will continue to be available on weekdays to provide parents with information on quality child care.

This exhibit is part of an ongoing outreach initiative by Toronto Children’s Services to promote the value of licensed child care, and to provide parents across Toronto with the information they need to make informed choices. Parents can call 416-392-KIDS (5437) or visit for more information on quality licensed child care in Toronto.

Toronto Children’s Services manages a network of over 50,000 licensed child care spaces across the city. It is committed to ensuring that every child has the right to childhood experiences that promote their chances of developing into healthy, well-adjusted and productive adults. Through outreach activities like the CNE exhibit, this division is sending the important message that at the City of Toronto, kids and quality matter.
