Media Advisory - Experience life as a Toronto EMS Paramedic, ride along in an ambulance

As part of our EMS Week events, members of the media are invited to ride along with Toronto EMS paramedics to experience life on the road, watching the medics assess and treat patients.
Help us educate the public on their responsibility to pull over to make room on the road when paramedics are running lights and sirens to an emergency call.

Seconds can save lives - and paramedics can start employing their lifesaving skills more quickly when motorists obey the Highway Traffic Act and yield the right of way to ambulances and other emergency vehicles. Move over and protect us all.

Date: Monday, May 15
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: Starting at EMS Stations across Toronto

For further information or interview opportunities during EMS Week (May 14 to 20), call 416-392-2255. Reporters can also call to arrange a ridealong.
