Media Advisory: STOMP dances to its fifth year

STOMP an Urban Dance showcase and competition and the largest youth event of its kind in Ontario is currently entering its 5th year. This event features cross-cultural, talented young people from across Toronto strutting their best step, belly dancing, b-boy, break, hip-hop, dancehall, jazz and contemporary dance steps.

Last year’s event rocked with 300 performers and over 1,000 spectators and this year’s promises to be even more of a show with 35 groups performing.

STOMP is produced by Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation to provide young people from varying cultural backgrounds, ages, gender and geographical areas with the opportunity to collaborate and produce high caliber performances, free from negativity.
