Weekend road closures for special event
  
A series of road and lane closures and intermittent delays will take place on Sunday, May 7 to accommodate the Sporting Life 10-K Run.

Yonge Street, between Lawrence Avenue and Erskine Avenue, will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 7 to accommodate the formation area for the run.

The race begins at 9 a.m. The list of road closures that will take place between 9 a.m. and noon to accommodate the event are as follows:
- Yonge Street, from Lawrence Avenue to Adelaide Street, will be closed in both directions
- Adelaide Street, from Yonge to Sherbourne Street, will be closed
- Sherbourne Street will be closed to southbound traffic, from Adelaide Street to Lake Shore Boulevard
- Lake Shore Boulevard, from Sherbourne Street to York Street, will be reduced to one lane for traffic traveling westbound
- York Street, from Lake Shore Boulevard to Bremner Boulevard, will be closed in both directions
- Bremner Avenue (end of race) from Simcoe Street to York Street will be closed in both directions
Roads will be re-opened as early as possible.

The public is encouraged to use public transit (TTC and GO) as a convenient, alternative choice whenever possible.
