Take in the fresh tastes of fall at Metro Hall’s farmers’ market
  
The City of Toronto and the Ontario Farm Fresh Marketing Association are hosting “Harvest Thursdays” farmers’ markets at Metro Square (north end by King Street) on September 28 and October 5, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and baked goods will be for sale. Harvest Thursdays at Metro Hall is a pilot project to gauge public interest for a full-scale farmers’ market program at Metro Hall in 2007.

The public can also take in the tastes of fall at the following farmers’ markets:

City Hall - Nathan Phillips Square
100 Queen St. W.
Wednesdays (October 4, 11 & 18)
10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Riverdale Farm
201 Winchester St.
Tuesdays (October 3, 10, 17 & 24)
3 to 7 p.m.

East York Civic Centre
850 Coxwell Ave.
Tuesdays (October 3, 10, 17 & 24)
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

St. Lawrence Market
92 Front St. E.
Tuesday to Sunday (year-round)
* Farmers visit on Saturdays

Etobicoke Civic Centre
399 The West Mall
Saturdays (September 30, October 7, 14 & 21)
8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

North York Civic Centre
Mel Lastman Square, 5100 Yonge St.
Thursdays (September 28, October 5, 12, & 19)
8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Dufferin Grove Farmer’s Market
875 Dufferin St.
Thursdays - year-round (inside and outside the rink house)
3 to 7 p.m.
