Media Advisory - City of Toronto, IBM Canada team up on community safety

(just west of Victoria Park Ave., north of Finch Ave. E.)

Mayor David Miller called on the private sector to offer employment, training and mentoring opportunities for youth in Toronto. IBM Canada answered that call, and have hired four young people from the Steeles-L’Amoreaux priority neighbourhood, and have committed to hiring two more.

  • Derek Ballantyne, Chief Executive Officer, Toronto Community Housing
