Learn about careers with Toronto Fire Services
Don’t miss out on career opportunities because you never considered joining the Toronto Fire Services. Fire Services does more than fight fires. Besides firefighters, there are jobs in the Communications Division and Fire Prevention and Public Education Division. To find out more about the application process and career preparation, attend at least one of Toronto Fire Services’ ongoing information sessions.

The sessions focus on career preparation and explain the recruitment process involved for the various jobs. As with all careers, each position has several specific criteria and evaluation steps. Recruiters will be available to discuss the recruitment process and answer questions. All sessions are free and registration is not required.

Information sessions will take place on June 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge St. in Committee Room 3, and on July 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Runnymede Library, 2178 Bloor St. W. in the Meeting Room.
