Weekend road closures
A series of road and lane closures will take place this weekend to accommodate street events in the city.

Cabbagetown Festival

Saturday and Sunday closures:

• Parliament Street, from Gerrard Street to Wellesley Street, will be closed in both directions from Saturday, September 9 at 8 a.m. to Sunday, September 10 at 1 a.m.
• Sherbourne Street is an alternate route.

The United Way of Greater Toronto Walkathon

Sunday closures:

• A series of full and partial road closures will take place in the area bounded by College Street (south), Bernard Avenue (north), Spadina Avenue (west), and Avenue Rd./Queen’s Park Circle (east) on Sunday, September 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The public is encouraged to use public transit (TTC and GO) as a convenient, alternative choice whenever possible.
