Road closure on St. Clair Avenue East

St Clair Avenue, from Yonge Street to Avoca Avenue, will be closed to traffic travelling eastbound from Monday, September 18 at 9 a.m. to Monday, October 2 at 6 a.m. Traffic travelling westbound on this portion of St. Clair Avenue East will not be affected.

The road closure is required to accommodate construction work associated with the section of track at the exit of the St. Clair Station streetcar loop, and to complete the concrete and pavement work on St. Clair Avenue, east of Yonge Street.

During this temporary road closure, eastbound TTC buses will be diverted via Yonge Street and Pleasant Boulevard in order to continue to operate into the St. Clair Station. Westbound bus routing will not be affected.

For more information about TTC route changes during the construction along St. Clair Avenue, visit the TTC’s website at http://www.ttc.ca.
