Road work scheduled for Ellesmere Road
  
The City of Toronto will be widening and reconstructing Ellesmere Road from Kennedy Road to Warden Avenue beginning Tuesday, April 18.

The work on Ellesmere Road, from Kennedy Road to Rolark Drive (just west of Birchmount Road) will take place from April 18 until November 30. The segment of Ellesmere Road, from Rolark Drive to approximately 200 metres west of Warden Avenue, will take place in 2007.

During construction, one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction, including a centre turn lane.

Pedestrian access to residences and businesses will also be maintained.

Alternate east/west routes in the area include Lawrence Avenue and Sheppard Avenue.
