Ontario Fallen Firefighter Memorial at Queen’s Park
  
At this year’s ceremony, the Honourable James K. Bartleman, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario; the Honourable Dalton McGuinty, Premier of Ontario; the Honourable Monte Kwinter, Ontario Minister of Community Safety and Corrections; Toronto Mayor David Miller; and representatives from the Toronto Fire Services will address the families of fallen fighters, fellow firefighters from around the province, and other guests.

Date: Sunday, October 1
Time: 10 a.m.
Location: Queen’s Park (northeast of College St. and University Ave.)

Due to the CIBC Run for the Cure that will take place between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on University Ave. and around Queen’s Park Circle, individuals who wish to attend the memorial ceremony are encouraged to approach from east of University Ave. Pedestrians will be unable to cross the timed run and anyone parking at Queen’s Park will not be able to leave until the run ends.
