Media Advisory - WinterCity media preview
Go behind-the-scenes at Toronto’s WinterCity Festival. This Thursday, January 26 at 6 p.m., get an advance look at the theatrical fireworks production “The Tower of Light” from Walk the Plank (U.K.). This media rehearsal will include vibrant special effects, music and fireworks. “The Tower of Light” production will be presented at Nathan Phillips Square on January 27, 28 and 29.

Be the first to see Toronto’s first ever American Express “Cool” Ice Lounge comprised of over 200,000 lbs. of ice. The 3600 sq. ft. lounge will offer one-of-a-kind entertainment and will serve blue cocktails - the WinterCity Sno-ball - created by the Liberty Entertainment Group.

“Walk the Plank” Project Manager Andrew Stratford will be on hand to discuss their award-winning production.

Jaye Robinson, Director of Toronto Special Events, will also be available to comment on the award-winning WinterCity Festival.

The WinterCity Festival is an award-winning 14-day city-wide celebration of Toronto’s culture, creativity and cuisine. WinterCity runs from Friday, January 27 to Thursday, February 9 and features large outdoor spectacle shows, live music and performing arts.
