Painting, sculpture, dance, drama, music and performance art have a new venue within the Arts and Administration Building at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC).
The $20-million facility features classrooms, studios for fine art and music and a 300-seat lecture theatre. Graduate art studio support the university’s tri-campus master’s program in visual studies.
Designed by Montgomery Sisam Architects Inc., the 5,530 square metre /60,000 square foot, four-storey centre features leading-edge energy efficiency and environmental design. A new campus Welcome Centre has been provided as well as offices for the registrar, faculty and staff. |
