The Green Barn, a new satellite site of The Stop Community Food Centre, is a 10,000 square foot sustainable food production and education centre that engages people to grow, eat, learn about, celebrate and advocate for healthy, local food. Located in the Artscape Wychwood Barns, the dynamic redevelopment of the historic Wychwood streetcar barns at Christie and St. Clair, The Green Barn includes a year-round greenhouse, sheltered garden, bake oven, compost demonstration project, community kitchen and classroom.

Event information:
The Green Barn's greenhouse will be open for tours. Find out about our year-round organic food production program and how we support our community with fresh, local produce. The Stop's Green Barn Market, featuring Ontario fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese and prepared foods, will run outdoors on the west side of the Barns from 8:00 a.m. - 2 p.m.
