TCBA started the annual Dragon Boat Race Festival in 1989 to promote the tradition and sport of dragon boating and to increase awareness of Asian and Chinese Canadian culture and cross-cultural understanding. Guests will be welcomed to a tented information area to learn about the operations of the plant, our community involvement, and our environmental initiatives. Additionally, outdoor activities include viewing our newly created ecological pits & mounds planting area, and meeting our urban beekeeper. Guided tours of the inside of the power plant will run approximately every 20 minutes.
Please note that due to safety equipment requirements, children under 10 are not permitted to enter the power plant.

The Canadian Sufi Cultural Center is the only building of its kind in the Toronto area and has been in use since 2008.
